No, it's an alternative to the parties. You and your friends can do something different during homecoming this year!

Please note that once you have booked an appointment with us it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you.
To cancel a session, you must do so at least 48 hours before the scheduled booking.
To reschedule a session, you must do so at least 48 hours before the scheduled booking. We will not be able to reschedule any sessions on the same day of your booking.
No Call No Show
If you fail to cancel or reschedule your session, YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED NOR WILL WE BE ABLE TO TRANSFER HOURS TO A LATER SESSION.

Studio sessions are a 2 hour minimum for you and your friends (12 people total). Please show up on time for your session.

You can choose any beat, but we've curated select beats from Morehouse producers and you can change the beat while in the session.

Yes, any genre is welcome: Hip-Hop, Country, R&B, Afrobeats, Pop, Gospel etc.

Yes, Top Barz will send each member the recording within 24 hours.

We recommend you listen to the instrumental, and write your verse ahead of time to maximize your session.

Scooter and Josh (your favorite cousins from Memphis) have spent the past year building their new startup and are thrilled to launch Top Barz within the Spelhouse community. They give much credit to Spelman Alum Jasmin, Hilary, and Michele for introducing them to their homecoming tradition of making a song with friends in the studio. Now, the Top Barz experience is available at scale for all students and alumni this homecoming.
